Republishing with JMS Books

Standard

Hello everyone,

I know that it’s been a while since I said I would find a new home for some of my works, but it’s finally happened.

After a lot of careful shopping around for a new publisher, I have decided to rehouse my past publications with JMS Books! JMS Books is, as their logo says, “a queer small press.” They publish all sorts of different genres of LGBTQ+ romance. I am really excited to announce that they have picked up four of my previously published novels/novellas as well as my novella Yaliana, which was in the works to be published, but was never given a release date.

The titles for re-release are as follows:

All the King’s Men

Rangers Over Regulus

Hakusan Angel

Sky Knights

And Yaliana will also be published as a brand new publication.

As soon as I know the re-release dates, I will let you all know. The earliest you will see the first one out is November 2019, as I am getting a quick re-edit, plus brand new covers. Cover reveals will happen as I receive them.

Thanks everyone for sticking with me while I looked for a new home. I found what I was looking for with JMS Books, and I am happy to recommend them to any former LT3 author also looking to rehome their books.

See everyone on the flip side!

It’s here! Insanity Girls Redux is finally ready for publication.

Summary: Insanity Girls takes place in a modern Canadian city, where the nightlife is wild and those that roam its streets even more so. One night, Silveira, a quiet university student finds herself transported into a world she never imagined. Envy, the punk rock chick that takes her there, is fascinated to find that their worlds might be able to cross over after all.

I self-published this short, and am looking to hopefully put up even more short stories and novellas that need new homes. I will be waiting until at least July 31st, as LT3 is in the process of taking down their book listings.

This amazing cover artwork was done by an awesome artist who happens to be open for commissions! Their name is Reina, but I will let them introduce themself!

Reina is a full-time freelancing digital artist with a professional focus on character design and concept art. They also produce illustration works. They are currently based in Malaysia.

I had a really great experience hiring Reina to do my cover. And, as you can see, my cover looks beautiful.

Sky Knights - cover-01

Hello everyone!

Today my Second World War novel Sky Knights is being released with Less Than Three Press.

Sky Knights is about two Soviet aviators during the Second World War who have to face all sorts of trials as they fight the Germans as night bombers in the all-female regiment known to the Germans as the Night Witches.

Sky Knights is a historical fantasy, so there is some magic thrown in there, making some of the Night Witches actual witches.

The official summary:

Dounia and Ira are part of the Nightwitches, an elite squad of night bombers determined to help bring down Axis forces. They are proud and fearless—until tragedy strikes and their plane is shot down behind enemy lines, and their determination may not be enough to get them home safe.

Genre: Lesbian romance, historical fantasy, World War II historical fiction

25 000 words, some explicit content

Sky Knights can be purchased as an Ebook HERE

Sky Knights is also part of the Damsels in Distress collection Bundle 2

Love Rampage release date

Standard

Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for!

At least, I’ve been anxiously awaiting today for at least a month. Today is the release date for Love Rampage!

Love Rampage - cover2-01

As any author can tell you, waiting for a release date is like being on pins and needles for the entire day. Is my book doing well? Do people like it? What if my book actually sucks and no one noticed until now, but the readers will?

Luckily, I have a little reassurance.

First of all, I’m not alone! I’ve got seven other lovely authors who also have their stories coming out today in the Geek Out anthology. I’ve gotten to know a few of them pretty well, because right now, there’s a wonderful blog tour going on!

Check out Smoocher’s Voice, World of Diversity, and Love Bytes over the next few days for a chance to read about the books available and for a chance to enter a giveaway!

Blog Tour Schedule:

January 22nd: Alex Powell

January 23rd: Cecil Wilde

January 27th: Alison Evans

January 28th: Alden Lila Reedy

January 29th: Francis Gideon

January 31st: J.K. Pendragon

February 6th: Caitlin Ricci

February 7th: Francis Gideon

We have an awesome author chat coming up soon with Rainbow Gold Reviews, so I’ll tell you about that later!

I’d also like to share with you one of the great reviews that my book has already received! I’m actually really pleased with this review, because the reviewer definitely understood exactly what I was trying to do with the story.

So here it is! Bending the Bookshelf gave me an amazing review!

So that’s it everyone. Love Rampage is out today with Less Than Three Press, and it’s a book I’m particularly proud of. This is also the first book I’ve taken a really big role in trying to promote, so let’s see how that goes!

New Release

Standard

My most recent novella Hakusan Angel was recently released with Less Than Three Press on April 9th.

I am really excited about this book because I love writing about hardcore ladies that can handle themselves.

For those of you who haven’t heard of it already, Hakusan Angel is a story in the Mecha Anthology A Loose Screw and goes along with the theme of giant machines piloted by humans. A good example of a Mecha story is Pacific Rim. Anyway, the premise of my story is that the machines are powered by people’s energy, and people who have enough energy to power a machine are called Sources. The level of energy a person has differs, and the higher the power, the rarer they are. One of my main characters is the extremely rare Level One Source who has been hiding her powers and the other main character is a pilot.

I really liked writing this story, because my Source character Kaede and my pilot character Mariko both had distinct personalities from the start and writing them was easy. The hard part was getting them to actually work together for long periods of time without storming off. They have a very strong difference of opinion, and once I’d written that into their personalities, it was hard to get them to reconcile.

This is a f/f romance, and I know that in the book market, those don’t sell as well as m/m romances. It’s a great shame, because I love this story and think that people who love sci-fi, fantasy and mecha stories are missing out because they don’t like the pairing. This story has a lot of action scenes in it, and if I’m good at writing anything, it’s action scenes.

Anyway, that’s my love for my latest release. I have an awesome story, awesome characters, awesome cover art and an awesome publisher, so if that’s not enough for some people, there’s really not much else I can do.
