Hiatus over?

Hello all!

It’s good to be back!

I’m sorry for being gone for so long. I was mostly working on my education, so I hope you will forgive me. I am graduating from UNBC with an MA in English on May 31st!

Anyway, that’s exciting for me. But what’s exciting for you guys is that I am back to work on creative writing stuff! I am currently finishing up dev edits on Yaliana that I was supposed to finish up over a year ago. Now that it’s back on track, I will probably be able to give you an update on publication dates soon!

Not only that, check this out!

Read and Write with Pride Turns 5

I’m doing a reading event in Edmonton again! It’s the annual Read and Write with Pride happening with some great LGBTQ writers in attendence. I’m excited about that, but I still don’t know what I’m going to be reading! I’ll let everyone know closer to the date.

There are so many things I’m working on right now, but I will have time this summer to work on creative writing, and hopefully taking a gap year between MA and PhD will give me lots of time to write.

I’ll tell you more about projects as they develop!

For now, glad to see you all!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hey all! Today is probably one of the best days for romance authors everywhere, at least on a fictional level. I can’t speak for anyone else, but Valentine’s Day is easy to make perfect when you’re writing about someone fictional!

valentines-chocolateI hope everyone’s having a good Valentine’s Day regardless. I know a lot of couples today who tried and failed not to be ridiculously romantic today.

If you’re a single person, I have a pick-me-up in the form of some awesome sales on romance novels today! Recommended to read with a side-helping of vodka.

holiday packageI’m the Featured Author for February, so all my titles are 20% off! Just go HERE to get instructions on how to save some dough at Less Than Three Press. I’m going to be the Featured Author till the end of the month, so go check that out! And if you’re wondering who the Featured Author for March is, there’s still a bit of time to nominate someone, and then it will be time to take a vote on who it will be! Go HERE to nominate the Featured Author for March!

Last but not least, it is Valentine’s Day, so there’s a sale on everything at Less Than Three Press for 20% off until tomorrow. And guess what? It’s stackable, so you can get 40% off my books until the 15th!

To be honest, that’s why I love Valentine’s Day the most, because of all the sales on romance books. Also, all the chocolate goes on sale afterwards, so you can have cheap and delicious chocolate and a cheap and delicious romance novel to go with it!

Have a Happy Valentine’s Day everyone, and Happy Reading!

Gay Romance Northwest 2014

Hey everyone! I’m writing today because it’s just two weeks until the Gay Romance Northwest meet-up in Seattle!

I’m really looking forward to going. It’s only the second year of the conference, but hopefully there are many more years to come. Last year’s conference was an astounding success for such a new conference, and this year, I’m happy to announce that I’m an Attending Author at this year’s conference.

I’m also going to have a table at bookfest, where you can come pick up some swag. I’m bringing some postcards and posters for the conference, so it should be fun.

You can pick up my book Rangers over Regulus, courtesy of the University Book Store! If you buy one of my books, there’s a free poster available, design done by Less Than Three cover artist London Burden! Go check out London’s website to see more of her amazing work!

Last but not least, I’m also on the workshop panel Writing Diversity during the morning, along with Marites Mendoza as moderator, and fellow panelists Heidi Belleau, Dena Hankins, and Pearl Love!

Are you excited yet? I’m excited. If you’re one of the attendees, feel free to come chat with me about just about anything. I also have a bookfest table, so I’ll be sitting there after the conference is done.

Let’s go, Gay Romance Northwest meet-up 2014!
