Camp NaNo 2016

Standard

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I did a blog post! Just checking in on everyone and telling you about my current projects.

Right now, I’m doing Camp NaNoWriMo, which is a writing workshop-type deal in which everyone is sorted into cabins in order to work on projects in a group setting. My friend A.V. Sanders invited me to be in a cabin, and I’m so excited to be in a cabin with someone who I know.

Right now, for Camp NaNoWriMo 2016, I’m working on the sequel to Far Patrol, which is my agender asexual dragon novel. I haven’t submitted that yet because it’s not edited yet, and is actually still out on beta. I also would definitely like to have at least two books of the series written before I submit it.

I’m only three days into Camp NaNo16, but it’s tough going. For some reason I don’t feel very motivated to write right now, and so I’ve been slugging it through in spite of the fact I’m less than motivated. Maybe it’s because I’ve still got a cold, which really sucks, because I totally missed July long weekend sleeping.

I’m still researching for my mystery novel, which is set in Victorian London. It’s my second novel with a trans woman character, but my first full length novel that has a trans character. I’m really excited about this one, because I love writing trans characters, and the story is going to be really fun.

Also, I finished the first draft of my knight story, which I want to submit to Less Than Three’s Heart of Steel call for submissions. I still need to send it out for beta reading, and also edit it like crazy, but I’ve finished, which is the main thing. Go me!

I think that’s all for now folks, other than to keep an eye out for my mini blog hop, which I will be doing for the release of All the King’s Men on July 27th! Exciting!

See you all later!
